Kenya: Health Workers from Pandipieri Health program Kisumua In thePandipieri community center two groups wanted to be instructed. One group was the Community Health Workers. Head of this unit, Sister Bernadette embraced the Hy2U as a tool with a promise and within a day it was organized that from the 15 Health Worker Groups, one representative would attend the introduction. It was happy working with these men and women. Time was really too short to learn all the tricks, but they managed fairly well. |

Kenya: Hy2U group meeting The last Sunday before our departure at the 30th of June we organized a workshop and invited all the church goers to attend. Too many people did, the workshop dissolved in chaos. Nevertheless, many people got an impression of what the Hy2U was about. |

Heruma Women Group Simon and Brian, staff members of a Community Service Center had organized for Joke and Reinder to introduce the Hy2U to a women group in Haruma, a poor and crowded neighborhood in Nairobi. That was a specially energetic encounter! They welcomed us the first time with a loud chorus, then took us along to a crammed little room, their meeting place. To this place we returned many times, getting these women more involved in all the tricks of making the Hy2U. Read in this report about what we learned. And we learned a lot! From splitting tasks and getting them done by nearby craftsmen we returded to a self-reliant approach, doing all tasks ourselfs.
